Define, monitor and evaluate their project team’s values (KPIs) in a professional manner.’
You are not expected to make design decisions just to make the KPIs looks good. Rather they are way for you to express how you as a team weight the importance of different factors. You can then use them to show that you have pushed the design in certain in areas more than others, which is resonable.
